How'd you do it?

This is the inevitable question I get whenever I bump in to someone I have not seen in a while. For those of you whom I have not seen and who may not have read here I have shed about 70lbs. The majority of that being lost between August and October. Now there are many people who have lost much more weight than I have. I salute them and their efforts and I welcome anyone who wants to share something that works for them here. I can only speak to my experience and I offer it here in the hope that for someone this might click.

So how'd I do it?

It wasn't hard. I don't starve and until recently I didn't work out. What I discovered were some simple "truths" that resonated for me. These revelations run counter to what many people have been told about losing weight, but they are nutritionally sound, well rounded and for me at least, extremely effective.

This is the part where I tell you to go and see your doctor before you make any adjustments to your diet or exercise. Being safe is part of being healthy and you need to know what condition your body is in both inside and out before you go monkeying around with it.
